For the most part I think I am an active person as I play softball 2-3 times a week and occasionally play basketball. I think I eat well for the most part, but I like to eat pizza and chicken parmiagian subs. I know to get where I want. My biggest enemy though is calories from beverages as I drink soda with every meal, prolly 5 cups a day and I know it has high contents of sugar and fat, so I feel if I can cut this down and at the same time improve my diet I should see some improvements. I also think I need to dedicate 3-4 times a week at the gym as I sometimes cant get there because my softball games get int the way, when that happens, I need to force myself to get there on the weekends.

Hi Dwyne. I've been slacking lately... I am still hovering between half and one chinup depending on the day, but I think they are getting slower/smoother.

Hi Dwyne. Sorry to hear about your back. It's great that you're keeping active though and able to play softball. Swimming is probably the best exercise, but unfortunately I really don't like it :-o But I am saving for an exercise bike so that should be a good thing.

Accident at my competition? I had the accident 5 weeks ago! I placed first in my competition, despite the accident!

I just did a chinup! Woohoo! Not from hanging but still... I am very pleased :o)

You're off to a flying start this week! :o) I'm doing well so far this week- on a new workout plan now, got about 8 weeks to go before the outdoor adventure day. Ideally want to be able to do chinups (at least one anyway!) by then. I'm going to be making good use of my fitness DVDs and equipment (dumbells, step, gymball etc)!
