| About bsidewinsagain |
Snow got me.
Being a chocoholic (and partial to most other junk food too) wasn't too much of a problem when I could quite happily go walking or running most days. Then I moved from a mild temperate climate to one where it can snow for half the year, and so I find myself needing a little more motivation to get out there exercising, heh.

Way to go- TOP CONTENDER! :o)

Well done last week! Sorry I wasn't any competition. You got a great score anyway :o)

Hello bside :o) Sorry to hear your leg is giving you more trouble. I think it's best to lay off the hills for a bit, and then go for less steep ones to start with. You could try doing intervals and run faster on the up, and jog/walk down- as far as I know running downhill is much more troublesome than uphill, from an injury and impact perspective anyway ;o) Then again, be careful because your achilles tendons would be under more strain that way. How is the flexibility these days?

Yo Bside! Hang in there and ease off the leg! So much you can do in your neck of the woods that's easy on the leg. Don't know the injury, but think out of the box for how to get in some fun cardio without straining the leg. Is it a knee issue? Heel? Hip? Try a few different things...New Grip Iron Game...."How many cardio exercises can we come up with for anyone with a leg injury?" I'll go first: 1. Kayaking, 2. Cycling, 3. Boxing, 4. Elliptical Trainer...ok, someone else take it from here. All kidding aside, don't give up the ship. So much to do in the meantime. Ease off and heal the leg before you get going. A little patience now will help you be stronger on a better leg later. Impatience will leave you with a recurring injury and slowing you down much more frequently. Peace!
