I have promised a friend I would run a 10k with her at the end of May. So, I need to get running more often again. Hopefully this cardio challenge will get me going. "
mark says, "Welcome to the Cardio Challenge.  This is a head-to-head cardio burning challenge league.  Each week you will compete against another player to see who can burn the most calories via cardio.  Some of you are saying that bigger people can burn more calories.  Don't worry, we factor in player's weights to make sure that people of all sizes have a level playing field. 
Points are awarded based on exercise MET-hours - which is a measure of exertion.  It is like calories but it factors out a person's weight.  The good news is you don't need to know anything about METs to play.  The more calories you burn by exercising the better you will do.  When you enter your workouts be sure to enter your exercise details to log your calories.  Good luck!   "
